MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Benjamin Yuan, PMP
Agile and Project Management Trainer
Ben is a dynamic, transformational leader with an extensive history of driving the entire lifecycle of complex technical projects in both the public and private sectors, consistently producing high- quality deliverables on time and within budget in demanding fast-paced PMO environments. He is skilled and trained with multiple certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI), including traditional PM and Disciplined Agile ideologies. He is also an Authorized Training
Instructor (ATI) with PMI. Ben is working under PMI approved ATP - Mana'Olana International.
Ben is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the leading entity on project, program and portfolio management. He served on the Hawaii board for six years including serving as the Chapter President for the PMI Hawaii Chapter. In 2024, he joined the PMI Global Chapter Insight Team with a charter to bring continuous improvement solutions to global regions.
Ben holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (University of Hawaii), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Hawaii Pacific University), and an Executive Leadership certificate (Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania). Ben also holds also certifications from Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile Framework and The Open Group.
