Speaker Bio: David “Dave” Brauer is the Senior Training Engineer for the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at Hawaiian Electric. In this capacity he has provided training for over 1,500 Hawaiian Electric employees in project management concepts, processes, methodologies, tools and techniques. Mr. Brauer is responsible for designing, developing, managing and executing the project management training program of the EPMO.
Synopsis: As one of the few PMI Registered Educational Providers (REPs) in Hawaii and perhaps the only Utility REP worldwide, Hawaiian Electric has a unique perspective on "Rocking the PMI Talent Triangle." PMI's REPs had first exposure to the new Talent Triangle and were challenged to align their curriculum prior to the triangle's launch in December 2015. Learn how Hawaiian Electric's existing project management training had to change to meet the new requirements and how our curriculum is evolving to meet the new competencies of the triangle.
